A viewers Action Plan

As far as my views are concerned, regarding the whole "Veerappan Saga" i would like to give my view taking all points into consideration and so i am dividing my views into parts....

1)STF : though the personnel are armed to teeth with latest gadgets, weapons, etc., & also have reduced his gang from 150 to 08. They lack a quality leadership, a think-tank and most importantly, fitness and adequate training in jungle warefare, guerrilla warefare, seek-n-destroy, search-n-rescue missions.according to reports all the personnel are drawn from the police constabulary lacking the above stated qualities. also the STF should be re-organised and divided into groups for better effect.

2)Arkesh Report: according to me Mr Arkesh who was earlier in CRPF before been on STF was an ideal man as he tried to guide the force in an proper way. also his report should be given to DGP ,karnataka & tamilnadu and also to union home ministry and also to prime minister as well the CM's of 2 states in which he is operating.

3)Better networking : all the intelligence agencies and tips should be given well in advance so that the sandalwood smuggler and poacher can be killed or caught before he getting the news first, which often happens. also the persons giving info should be handsomely paid and so must be the STF personnel.

4)Co-ordination & Co-operation: if, at all the police or STF has to capture veerappan the 2 states should forget blemishes and start their operation against him together and with an unified command. because by doing so his morale will be low and the STF's high and also it will put a new life-blood in its personnel to capture/kill the brigand in their operations against him very effectively.

5) Cutting Resources : the STF should try and cut all his resources such as rations, ammo, rifles, explosives, etc and also try to find the people who are supporting irrespective of their cast, creed and position. therby, frustrating and cornering him.

6)Last Resort : if the above 5 are not worked then army and para-military both, should step inn and only such persons should be takrn in for operation who has an knowledge of first-aid, communication ,jungle & guerrilla warefare, demolition techniques, search and rescue, seek-n-destroy, to name a few. also they must be constituted in various units and not as a large batch as the operates in an vast area.
