. ::: THE MEMORIAL SITE :::

The Karnataka government is planning to set up a memorial to Kannada thespian Rajkumar in the city at a cost of Rs.10 Crores in the next 6 months ( as reported on 18 April 2006)

This will be located in the 20-acre Kanteerava studio where Dr. Raj Kumar's body was laid with full State honours.

The memorial will have a permanent exhibition to showcase the actor's contribution to the Kannada film industry over the last five decades. it will also house movies, dialogue, scripts, songs and other memorabilia associated with Dr. Raj.

Hundreds are already visiting the burial place and are laying wreathes everyday.
